Conditions of Participation and Privacy Policy for the Collector's Showcase Project of Sammelkartenmarkt GmbH & Co. KG
§ 1 Subject matter
(1) These terms and conditions of participation and data protection information govern the participation in the Collector's Showcase Project of Sammelkartenmarkt GmbH & Co. KG, Nordkapstr. 4, 10439 Berlin (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer") by the participants as well as the collection and use of data collected from or communicated by participants.
(2) By participating in the Collector's Showcase Project, participants accept these conditions of participation.
§ 2 Conditions of participation
(1) The participation period begins on March 25, 2025, at 09:00am CET and ends on April 06, 2025, at 23:59 CET.
(2) Every person with a valid Cardmarket account and from the European Union is eligible to participate. Such an account can be opened free of charge at https://www.cardmarket.com.
(3) Participation starts by filling out and submitting the Survey form. We are not required to accept your submission and will check if it fits the project. Just contacting you after your submission doesn’t mean we have accepted your participation.
(4) Cardmarket will not cover any expenses incurred by participation. This is not an employment or freelance relationship. Legal action relating to the above is not allowed.
§ 3 Processing, notification, and publication of data
(1) By submitting your information, you agree that we can use and publish your data, including your name, photo, and pictures of your trading cards. Other data may be published with your consent. You agree to be featured and named on our social media and website (www.cardmarket.com). We may also share your information on third-party websites like the photographer's website. By participating, you give us the rights to any photos created, which will remain Cardmarket's intellectual property.
(2) The data you provide will be used, processed, and published if we cooperate with you in the project. Our Privacy Policy applies and can be found here: Privacy Policy.
§ 4 Exclusion of warranty
The organizer points out that the availability and function of the project cannot be guaranteed. The project may be canceled or removed due to external circumstances or limitations, and participants will have no claims against the organizer in such cases. The organizer also reserves the right to change the participation conditions at any time.
§ 5 Data protection information
(1) The organizer collects and uses the data of the participants only insofar as this is legally permitted or the participants consent to it.
(2) The organizer collects the following data from participants and uses the data for the design, implementation, and execution of the Collector's Showcase Project: name of the participant, username, as well as email address, phone number, and address (in case of a win).
(3) Upon request in writing or any text form, participants can at any time receive from the organizer information about personal data stored by the organizer, can request correction and deletion, and can revoke consent to data use.
