I'm Having an Issue Making a Bank Transfer to my Account

That's okay! Bank transfers can be a little more complicated than the other payment methods. The main reason for this comes down to the Transfer Reason. You must include a correct transfer reason. If you don't, the transfer will likely be sent back to your bank account.

The transfer reason changes based on whether you use Euros or Pounds-sterling. You can find the correct transfer reason to use on our deferred payments page (must be logged in).

The EU transfer reason will always contain: “A” + a number + a hyphen + your username + CM. You can see a generic example of an EU transfer reason in the picture to the right.

The Pounds-sterling transfer reason is a little different, but still accessible on the deferred payments page. This transfer reason will always contain: “A” + a number + a hyphen + three letters.

We highly recommend copying the transfer reason directly from the deferred payments page when making a bank transfer to your Cardmarket account.
